Reflection on 2017

2017 has been a huge year for all of us. We took leave of our ex principal, Mr David Millar at the end of the first term. A man who brought about so much change at Normies, this was huge shoes to fill.

Being Acting Principal at school where  I have dedicated 20 years of my life,  made me realize that I have come full-circle. Teaching, mentoring, learning and now leading the school; I am humbled by the support!
I would like to thank the teachers, admin staff and ground staff for their unfailing dedication to the school and to the learners.
We achieved a 100% pass rate from  Grades 8- 11 ! This is a huge achievement and testament to the hard work put in by the teachers and learners alike.
To my Staff Management Team, I am in awe of your conviction, strength and loyalty. Thank you.
Our matrics finished their final exams on Monday 27 November. We look forward to celebrating with them on 5 January 2018 when the results are announced.
As we enter the festive season, I would like to wish all our Christian family and friends a blessed Christmas. To those travelling, please be safe on the roads. Enjoy the festivities.
“Never stop learning  because life never stops teaching”
