It was a day of mixed emotions: the Matrics were excited, yet sad to see their school career coming to an end. A sense of finality, hopeful about the future and sentimentally reflecting on the past five years, warmed the heart of each Matriculant.
Our guest speaker was Andrew Tucker, a past pupil from SACS, who was the top Matriculant in the country in 2015. His inspirational words of encouragement resonated with all our pupils. Many a tear was shed during the farewell address of the Chairlady of the School Council, Siphokuhle Mabika.
After the ceremony, the Matriculants gathered on stage to sing their farewell song. After that the entire audience left the hall to form a Guard of Honour along the driveway to wish our Matriculants a final farewell.[/ultimate_heading][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=\”1/4\”][vc_single_image image=\”10892\” img_size=\”medium\” alignment=\”center\” style=\”vc_box_shadow_border\”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\”3/4\”][ultimate_heading main_heading=\”Kayleigh Peterson, Jadon Gideon and Taylor Fernandez \” sub_heading_margin=\”margin-top:12px;\”]Congratulations to Kayleigh Peterson and Taylor Fernandez, both girls represented the WP u/17 girls touch rugby team over the weekend of the 7-9 of October in the Junior Inter Provincial Tournament.
